About Promoting Health-the natural way
The clinic practices Integrative Homeopathic medical care and is run by Dr Jennifer Sudder, a conventional medical doctor. After graduating from Aberdeen University in 1997 she worked first in hospital medicine then in general practice, obtained her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners while working in Aberdeen. Travelling and working as a General Practitioner in New Zealand increased her awareness of the effectiveness of using an integrated approach to healthcare. Returning to the Aberdeenshire in 2003 training in homeopathy began and has been used in her work within the NHS and the private sector ever since.

Dr Sudder achieved her Faculty of Homeopathy Membership exams, completed a certified course in Hypnotherapy and undertook a diploma in Nutritional Medicine at Surrey University, studying the effect nutrition has on health, lifestyle, disease and ageing, while working as a partner in a general practice. These learnings are continually kept updated by the scientific support of homeopathy and the fast developing field of Nutritional Medicine.
Increasingly she has found natural approaches to be very effective in helping patients achieve long-term health benefits, alongside conventional medication as needed. This individualised healthcare approach is called Integrative Medicine.
Many people attend the clinic when conventional options either cannot be used or have not helped, others preferring a natural approach. An awareness of adverse drug reactions and side effects have encouraged this approach to holistic healthcare as well as patient’s enthusiasm for natural medicine.
Thirty years of experience in healthcare enable Dr Sudder to choose, together with each individual, the most beneficial therapeutic approaches. Individuals will also be advised when conventional approaches are required.
These holistic medical skills & long career in conventional medicine are combined with personal interests in the mind-body connection found through yoga, how this is understood within Neuroscience, & a lifelong interest in the benefits of nature to health.
